Multiplexers and Interface Converters
Interface conversion, digital cross connects (DXC) and
multiplexing allow the optimization of the access infrastructure
by its ability to do local switching, to reduce the number of
physical interfaces needed for connecting to the backbone
network, and by the reduction of number of (non-managed)
external interface conversion boxes.
Because it shares the same card-nest (CN4) and it integrates
into the same network management concept than the voiceband
modems, xDSL and fiber optic modems, this equipment is an
essential part of the global Telindus access solution.
